This is my first post to this new blog. I have owned thisdomain.com since 1996, when most people didn't even have a clue what a "domain" was. This is the first time I have ever used the domain for anything other than email.

When I give someone my email address, I often find that they think they don't understand me correctly and ask me to spell it. Instead, I usually say something like, "not THAT domain, THIS domain. Dot com." They always get it right after that.

I am an information junkie. I read a lot, and am a big user of Viigo on my Blackberry. I skim dozens of blogs and RSS news feeds every day. I find a lot of really cool stuff that I want to tell everyone about, but only have a few contacts that I would send emails like that to. So I hope to develop a following here so that I can share my COOL finds with lots of people.

There are plenty of blogs that report on cool stuff. Hopefully you will share my taste and opinions on what's really cool and what isn't, and you will become a regular reader. And hopefully you will tell your friends that think like you do.
