Up till now I have been using Blackstar, a free BB app, for geocaching. (If you don't know what geocaching is, check out the videos below.)
Blackstar is a very capable app and always got me right where I needed to be. It integrates with an online database management system called bcaching.com that makes it easy to have a ready list of unfound geocaches at hand no matter where you go...as long as you have done a simple bit of prep work, that is.
But after nearly a year, and no software updates, I decided to try something else. I had already tried something called "Cacheberry," an inexpensive app for geocaching, but didn't like it. In searching for something new I came across "CacheSense." Tried it and loved it! turns out, this is the app I tried before and didn't like with a new name and a new look, and lots of new features.
If you're into geocaching, and you use a Blackberry, you need to check this out. Of course, you will need to have GPS capability to use Cachesense.
